NOVO NORDISK - "HERITAGE MONTHS" EMPLOYEE EVENTS AND INTRANET SITE

646 342 5850

"Heritage Months” were an established feature on the Novo Nordisk employee Intranet, but there were few opportunities for employees to dive in and participate. The program was completely overhauled with the “Now, THAT'S Worth Celebrating” series, which revitalized the program, giving it additional relevance and allowing direct employee participation with the launch of an annual Online Art Show.

The program was expanded to feature an omnibus of live events, including guest speakers such as Roscoe Orman (Gordon from Sesame Street), Olympic Gymnast Dominique Dawes, and NPR’s White House Correspondent, Ari Shapiro. Other events included an Origami class, a professional storyteller (for “Bring Your Child to Work Day”) and a documentary screening.  The program is enormously popular within Novo Nordisk. In fact, there were over 100 entries in the latest Art Show – with nearly a third of the staff participating.
